A Family Affair
Y'all talk about favorite brides.... I LOVE Millie! She is the most bubbly and joyful person you will ever meet, she's one of those people you can never have a bad time around because she is so sweet and funny. She is so kind and I just adore her! She's also extremely talented with graphic design and she actually made her own custom newspaper for the wedding day which was SO cool! She even put my logo on it since I was capturing the day and it made me so happy when I saw that. All the details in the day were so unique and thoughtful and it truly elevated the day.
Another sweet detail is that Millie and Bryant got married at The Country Place, which is Millie's Parents' venue. I had never shot at a place where the parents were owners of the venue- so it was really fun to kind of have free reign of the property! Millie's dad also did the florals for the wedding which I think is just the sweetest thing that he worked so hard for her big day to be perfect. Millie's first look with her dad was priceless and it was so sweet when he prayed for her and Bryant before the ceremony.
This whole day was so fun, Millie's family was so friendly and kind and made me feel so welcome all day. Her bridesmaids were also so nice and were all wearing mismatched dresses from BHLDN which of course I was swooning over. The ceremony was absolutely gorgeous. They got married right as the sun was setting and the golden light while Millie waked down the aisle was so magical. Millie's parents made the outside venue specifically for Millie, and now brides will be able to enjoy it for years to come! The reception was so much fun and the food was to die for! They had a bunch of smokers cooking the meat and it makes my mouth water just thinking about it. I loved how Millie knew everyone who worked there- including the cooks- it made the whole day feel like home!
