Michael & Haley

There is so much I could say about Michael and Haley, but I’ll try to sum it up in the short blog post. First of all, Haley is the type of person that you instantly know that you could become best friends with. She has the most warm personality that just feels like you're getting wrapped in the best hug. Unfortunately, I was about to move 11 hours away- but I just know that if I were to stay in the Memphis area we definitely would have become good friends. So Haley, if you're reading this- ILYSM.

Their wedding day was extremely intimate, with only a maid of honor and a best man on each side of the bridal party. They also have a super tightknit family which was really special to see. Especially Haley‘s relationship with her mom. When her mom was helping her get into her dress I got a little bit teary-eyed because of how sweet the interaction was between the two of them.

Haley was a stunning bride. I just couldn’t get over how gorgeous she was, and she also is one of the most joyful people you’ve ever met which honestly makes anyone 10 times more beautiful! Her dress was incredible and she seriously looked like a princess. I was obsessed.

The ceremony was absolutely beautiful with flower petals covering the aisle that Haley walked down. It made for the most gorgeous entrance. I was swooning over this detail that the Garden District brought to life.

After the ceremony, I got to spend some time with Haley and Michael taking their bride and groom photos. We had a bit of an adventure on a golf cart ride around the grounds of the Memphis Botanic Garden, but that’s a story for another day (Lol).

Their reception was absolutely one for the books. Michael plays rugby and all of his rugby pals were in attendance and well….all I can say is that they like to party! It was so much fun to see the high energy that their friend group brought to the reception. It always makes a wedding reception so much better when your friends are out on the dance floor with you!

About a week after shooting their wedding, I received the most gorgeous bouquet of flowers from Michael and Haley as a thank you for shooting their wedding. I will absolutely never forget the sweet gesture of their gratefulness and I will also forever be thankful that they chose me to shoot their day!

xoxo-
